  15.      _d_i_a_l_t_e_s_t is an interactive program for the testing and
  16.      development of dial string processing rules used by _H_y_l_a_F_A_X.
  17.      _d_i_a_l_t_e_s_t reads the file of rules specified on the command
  18.      line and then prompts for a dial string.  For each string
  19.      typed in, _d_i_a_l_t_e_s_t prints the result of applying the
  20.      canonicalization and dial-string preparation rule sets.  A
  21.      rule set whose name is _s_e_t_n_a_m_e can be specified by typing
  22.      ``_s_e_t_n_a_m_e(_s_t_r_i_n_g)''; for example,
  23.      ``_C_a_n_o_n_i_c_a_l_N_a_m_e(+1.415.965.7824)''.

  25.      Note that _d_i_a_l_t_e_s_t reads the rules file only when it is
  26.      initially started up.  This means that _d_i_a_l_t_e_s_t must be
  27.      restarted for it to apply changes to a rules file.
